Tea Tree and Rosemary

Not many photos to share today.  We spent most of the day working, so we can have a full day off later in the week when the weather is a bit better.  We always say how volatile the weather is in Nova Scotia, but it's nothing compared to here.  The weather can change in the blink of an eye.. crazy wind and rain can come out of nowhere, then be sunny and warm 10 minutes later.  That's what our day was like today, so we didn't take the camera out much.

This is the view from our bedroom, to our own little patio.

Today we planted tea trees and rosemary on this hill.

Tiny little rosemary plant.

We'rereally enjoying our time here.  Doing lots of planting, which is very rewarding work.  Our host is really friendly and social, and easy going.  Food is great.  Our other hosts were avoiding gluten, dairy, sugar, caffiene and generally had no junk food.  Here we've been enjoying "real" bread, milk for our cereal, hot chocolate and coffe, cookies and ice cream, and even a bag of chips.  I start to realize how badly I eat normally, when eating healthy for a week causes cravings for sweets and burgers.  :)
