It's our last day in Taupo, and we had a pretty lazy day.
Chris makes me breakfast almost every morning.
Sue brought her horse back, so I got to meet Hooch. He liked me right away. :)
We took a mid morning break to check out the Saturday morning market. Chris had fun tasting all the sausages, and ended up going home with an Apple Curry Pork sausage. Yum.
Not sure what a Chookie Poo-Bag is, but I'm sure it's not worth $7.50.
Chris disagreed. (Kidding, it's just a kebab.)
It was raining this afternoon, so I relaxed in the tub... until this fella came along. Relaxation over!
Laundry time.
A relaxaing evening in front of the fire, watching a Rugby Game.
Apparently the All Blacks are the best rugby team, ever. I think worshipping the All Blacks is New Zealander's national religion. So, we figured we should see what all the fuss is about.
Overall we've had a great time here in Taupo. I can't say enough about the accomodations... pure luxury compared to other helpX hosts. And we've felt completely at home here. Taupo is a very nice town. It has a bit of a resort feel, but not crazy touristy like Rotorua. Tomorrow we leave for Wellington, the capital. We only stay there a couple days, then we're off to the South Island.
Looks like heaven!
