Beginning of the Queen Charlotte Drive... overlooking Picton harbour.

Such a beautiful drive.  I fell in love a bit.

Out of the mountains and on our way to Nelson.

We kept seeing these girls... their fashion sense was right out of the 80s.

One of the sunniest places in NZ, so lots of vineyards.

On the road again, to Westport.

Stopped at the Buller Gorge Swingbridge. This one was a little scary.

...but a great view.

There were two ways to get across.  We walked, like suckas.

On the other side was this fault line that opened up after an earthquake.

Last year this river flooded... and the waterline was 10 feet higher than where I was standing when I took this picture.
